Kula Flows offers a powerful way to streamline your hiring process, and with the "Start from Scratch" option, you can create custom Kula Flows tailored to your specific requirements.

This article provides a step-by-step guide on creating a Kula Flow from scratch, empowering you to design and automate your hiring workflow effectively.

Step 1: Navigate to the Kula Flows Page

1. Log in to your Kula account using your credentials.

2. On the side navigation bar, click on Flows to access the Kula Flows page.

Step 2: Select "New Kula Flow"

1. On the Kula Flows page, locate the "New Kula Flow" button in the top right corner.

2. Click on this button to initiate the creation of a new Kula Flow.

Step 3: Start from Scratch

1. In the new Kula Flow window that appears, you'll notice an option at the top right labeled "Start from Scratch".

2. Click the "Start from Scratch" button.

Step 4: Set up your engagement requirements
Kula's true multichannel outreach, encompassing Email, LinkedIn InMail, and LinkedIn Connection Request capabilities, is a powerful tool that enables effective engagement with potential candidates.

  1. Select Communication Channel
Begin by selecting the desired communication channel for the flow step. Kula offers three options: Email, LinkedIn InMail, and LinkedIn Connection Request. Choose the appropriate channel based on your communication strategy and the preferences of your target audience.

  2. Set "Send After" Timing
Determine when the step should be sent after a candidate is added to a flow. This can be configured using the "Send after" feature.

  3. Choose the Sender
Select the user who will be sending the communication on behalf of your organization. This is a powerful feature as it allows you to choose a specific sender, such as the hiring manager, which can significantly impact the response rate. By personalizing the sender, you establish a more direct and meaningful connection with the candidates.

  4. Enter Subject and Message Content
Provide a concise and attention-grabbing subject for the communication. This will be the first thing candidates see and can influence their decision to open and engage with the message. Then, compose the main message using the provided text editor. Take advantage of custom variables to personalize the message and tailor it to the individual candidate, adding a personal touch that can increase engagement.

  5. Preview the Message
Before finalizing the flow step, utilize the "Message Preview" section on the right-hand side to review the message's appearance and formatting. This allows you to ensure that the content is visually appealing, error-free, and effectively conveys your intended message. Make any necessary adjustments or revisions before proceeding.

Final Step: Launch Your Kula Flow

1. Once you have created and reviewed the steps in your Kula Flow, you are ready to launch it.

2. Click on the Launch button to set your Kula Flow in motion.
