By leveraging Kula's Email Enrichment feature through the Chrome Extension or Web Application, users can make informed decisions about the most effective email to use for candidate outreach. This streamlined process not only saves time but also enhances the success of your communication efforts through Kula Flows.

Understanding Primary and Verified Emails

Primary Email: The Primary Email is the designated email address used to send emails to a candidate within Flows. This ensures that communication is directed to the most relevant contact point. When a contact is enriched, Kula automatically determines the Primary Email based on the following criteria:

  1. Verified Personal Email:

    • If a verified personal email is available, it is set as the Primary Email.

  2. Unverified Personal Email:

    • In the absence of a verified personal email, an unverified personal email may be chosen as the Primary Email.

  3. Work Email Enrichment (if enabled):

    • If work email enrichment is enabled, Kula considers verified and unverified work emails in the determination process.

Important Note: This is disabled by default. Please contact your Customer Success Manager for more information.

  4. Verified Work Email:

    • A verified work email is prioritized as the Primary Email if available.

  5. Unverified Work Email:

    • In cases where a verified work email is not available, an unverified work email may be set as the Primary Email.

  6. Handling Multiple Emails:

    • If multiple emails are found in the same category (personal or work), [Your Application Name] selects the first one received from enrichment vendors.

Verified Email: A Verified Email is a valid email address with a very low chance of bounced emails. This validation is carried out through third-party vendors. The verification process helps ensure the accuracy and deliverability of communication.

Manual Addition of Email: When a user adds an email manually, it is automatically set as the Primary Email, allowing users to control the designated communication channel.

Changing Primary Email: Users can change the Primary Email from the available list of emails within Kula Everywhere (Our Chrome Extension) or the web application. This can be done on the contact details page, providing a seamless way to adapt to evolving communication needs.
