Set up and manage Tasks

While creating Kula Flows, you can define the steps as manual or automatic. Automated Steps, like sending an email, are simply scheduled and sent to candidates without any user intervention. But when you set a Step to 'manual', it requires human attention.

Now, all other steps except automated emails are converted to Tasks as they require manual intervention. For example: If one of the Steps of your Kula Flow is to send a connection request on LinkedIn, it requires you to send the request yourself on LinkedIn.

So tasks, as the term suggests, are your to-dos that need manual intervention in the Kula workspace. These could be sending an InMail or a connection request on LinkedIn, or an email to potential candidates.

Tasks are visible in multiple ways on the Kula workspace:

  1. In the Tasks section on your Kula workspace: To get a collective view of your pending tasks, go to the Tasks section by navigating to the left panel on your Kula workspace.

  2. In the Dashboard section on your Kula workspace: You can also view your pending Tasks from the Dashboard section by navigating on the left nav bar.

  3. On our extension called 'Kula Everywhere': When you visit LinkedIn or Gmail you'll see your Tasks on the extension tab.

Note: It's important to have the Kula - Everywhere chrome extension installed in order to execute Tasks related to platforms like LinkedIn, Gmail, and Github, as these Tasks are executed outside Kula, and the extension makes everything work in sync.
